The Aftermath

What a wonderful Christmas! :) I am so happy right now.

I had been begging and begging Loren for a Journey diamond necklace but he decided to get me a different type of bling -- he named a star after me. So now when you look up at Ursa Major, one of the stars above it and a little to the right is named "My Baby." Isn't that the sweetest thing? He framed up the really pretty certificate that they sent him and the star chart that shows the location of my star for me to hang on the wall. I was very touched by his originality. A very awesome gift.

And I got a little bling for my neck too... ;)

Plus, a couple of cute beaded necklaces and earrings, a jewelry box to hold them all, fuzzy slippers, new sunglasses and a bunch of other things. I got spoiled!

We had a fun time with his family on Christmas Eve. We made cookies, dusted the lawn with "reindeer food" and tracked Santa on the Norad site. Everyone was up at the crack of dawn on Christmas Day to open presents and have eggnog french toast! Then we spent the day playing with all the new toys that the kids got (I am sore today!). Dinner, then home...

I feel so grateful that I fell in love with such a great man and through him, a great family. I have never been this in love or this happy in my whole life. I am just in awe of my emotions right now. I didn't know life could be like this and I am a better person for it.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I can't wait for New Year's. 2007 is going to be the best year ever!

Merry Christmas!

This is going to be my last chance to post before Christmas, so I wanted to wish everyone out there in the blogosphere a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy the day off, your family and friends! I hope that Santa brings you everything that you wish for!

Love to you all!

Bored

Bored Bored boredoboredoboredboredoboredboredboredboredboredboredobredobdfmskdjglaerjit.

Same as yesterday, nothing to do...

I did find something interesting while I was looking for gifts online yesterday. Check this out. Since Loren and I are both of Irish descent, we were thinking about getting a piece of land. I think it is neat.

BORED.

Working but Not

My company moved into its new office space today. Everyone was busy this morning unpacking their boxes and getting their desks organized. I, on the other hand, sat around. I didn't have my own desk and computer until this morning. I have no office supplies and no accounts so I basically have nothing to do. Everyone else is kind of slow right now too so I couldn't even help them out.

So I have been surfing My Space all day and pricing Christmas presents for Loren.

We went and got our Christmas tree this weekend! Loren put up the lights outside and I did the lights on the tree and then we decorated the tree together. It was so nice. We got a little "Our First Christmas" ornament and we hung it on the tree together. He is so awesome.

I had the very enjoyable pleasure of stepping in dog poo this morning. That would make it three times this week. Tyson is rebelling again me going back to work full time and not spending the day with him. So he? Went in his cage this morning.

Well, I am off to smoke. It will give me something to do to break up the my space monotony.

Update

After a ton of prompting from my family and Loren, I went to the doctor last night to have my back looked at. Long story short, my X rays are clean and I am not broken anywhere. That is such great news! So the doctor prescribed some happy pills and sent me on my way.

While I was waiting for the X rays to come back, Loren did something that made me love him even more. I was completely looped because the doctor had given me Valium and Norco for my pain and I started to sing Christmas carols. When I started singing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" I would get to the part where someone normally echoes you ("Like a lightbulb!") and I would look at Loren, waiting for him to play. After two tries, he completed the line for me and I got to sing the whole song with an echo. It was awesome. Something so little and silly but he humored me and made me feel special, loved and taken care of! I love him!

Now I just have to call the CHP to file my police report and I will hire a lawyer and get this party started. Woot!

MY Week Last Week

Started my new job. Awesome.

Got rear ended by an 18 wheeler. Totaled my car and screwed up my back. Not awesome.

Borrowed a friends car and had the alternator die on me. Had to wait three hours for a tow truck. Not awesome.

Couldn't move my car this morning and got a parking ticket. Not awesome.

My next move? Find the nearest bridge and jump. (Just kidding Mom)

On the bright side? Loren is being an absolute doll. I am so lucky to have that man! :)
