ARGH

Loren started had his first underwater SCUBA experience tonight with his first confined water dive at our local pool. He is STOKED. Like I told him, being able to breathe underwater, to be practically weightless is the COOLEST feeling in the world.

I got to sit on top and watch since (1) I am not part of the class and (2) I have no equipment.

I called the ex last week or so to ask him one more time for my equipment. When I left him last March, I left everything I owned when I bailed out to WA. Not the smartest thing to do but I never dreamed that he would keep whatever he wanted out of my possessions and give me the rest. He kept my motocross helmet (which was a birthday present. His personal helmet sucked ass...), he kept my beach cruiser (another birthday present...A $600 one) and he kept all my SCUBA gear (most of which I paid for myself.) His justification is that I left it at his house. I left ALL of my stuff at OUR house. The house that I helped pay rent on for the month that I left. He only kept things that were expensive. The reason he kept my SCUBA gear was because he said that was something that we were supposed to do together for the rest of our lives.

You would think that if he meant for us to be together for the rest of our lives, he would have married me sometime within the SEVEN FUCKING YEARS that we were together.

I am SOOOOOO glad that he didn't because I was effing miserable and I am insanely happy now but that's not the point.

The point is that he stole my stuff and I am pissed about it still. He gave me back all the crappy ass jewelry he gave me over the years. Wouldn't that mean more? Of course not because he couldn't part with his hard earned money to get me anything decent.

Whatever. I'll get new equipment eventually. I just want to be able to dive with Loren on the 16th for his final class dive.

In other news, Loren had such a good time. His class is big but everyone seems really cool. We are definitely going to have fun with them. Since I am the experienced one, a lot of them have turned to me for hints and tips when the instructors are too busy. I like being able to help like that.

His birthday is a week from tomorrow. I have one prize for him already and I have ideas for other things...hopefully I'll be able to afford everything.

Life in general is wonderful. I really am SO lucky. I get to come to my tall dark and handsome every night and get loved up on. We got a new bed that is like sleeping on a cloud. I have NEVER had a mattress as nice as the one we got. It's a double pillow topped slice of heaven.

On that note, I am off to sleepy time!!
