TVJ - I expect you to call them out on the carpet for screwing up. I like looking at things from a different perspective and reading your blog helps me do that. Oh, and right back atcha! *wink*

GT - Hope is all we need. Or is that love? *smooches*

X- Project for a New American wha-? *runs off to google* Have you read your book and is your blanket keeping you warm? BTW, everyone at karate thought you were my boyfriend!

I am still feeling sick for the FOURTH day in a row and I am supposed to test for three belts in karate on Saturday. I was going for four, but between getting ready for the desert and being sick when we got back, I haven't trained in over a week. I will go tonight, fever or not.

did you glean anything from your google query? did you learn something new about the neo-conservative movement that no one talks about? there are specific things that scare me about that group. some key positions:
-“Develop and deploy global missile defenses to defend the American homeland and American allies, and to provide a secure basis for U.S. power projection around the world.” -interesting choice of words, 'power projection'

-“Need to develop a new family of nuclear weapons designed to address new sets of military requirements”

-“Need for a larger U.S. security perimeter” and the U.S. “should seek to establish a network of ‘deployment bases’ or ‘forward operating bases’ to increase the reach of current and future forces,”

-End the Clinton administration’s “devotion” to the Anti-Ballistic Missile treaty.

-“Main military missions” necessary to “preserve Pax Americana” and a “unipolar 21st century” are the following: “secure and expand zones of democratic peace, deter rise of new great-power competitor, defend key regions (Europe, East Asia, Middle East), and exploit transformation of war.”

im really not an extremely liberal person, though nor am i a conservative one. i have problems with people who exploit others for profit, and those who seek to control others. i have SERIOUS problems with religion and those who would impress theirs upon me.

so, what do you think? what was your motivation for supporting Bush? are you pro-life? are you religious? do you support an amendment for banning gay marriage? do you support Bush's actions in iraq? do you support drilling for oil in alaska?

please understand that i am not trying to be an ass, and i have no attitude towards you, i am really asking you for your opinions. if you want we can switch to an email based conversation.

love you!
-X
